Describe your own experiences when teaching these
skills. Which is the most difficult skill to teach? Contrast your own
experience as a Kinder garden teacher in El Salvador with the theory given in
the books.
Which of activities featured on chapters 3 through 6
did you try in your classes? Did they work? Explain why they did or didn’t
work. Did you make any changes to the activities? Explain which changes you
made, and how they affected the way you ran the activity.

When things go wrong in class
Look
at the list of things that can go wrong in a class.
o There was an internal disturbance.
o There was an external disturbance.

o An activity took too long.
o You had extra time.
o An activity didn’t work
o An activity was too difficult.

teaching practicum?
Describe what
happened in and how you dealt with it.

VII. The tools
of the trade
From
this chapter, choose the tools that you used in your class, and describe the
activities that you used them for.
Classify
all the tools in this chapter into useful and useless in our environment.
Provide the reason why you made such distinction.
Make
three collages of the nine TVYL presentations (pics). Reflect upon the top
three chapters you would incorporate in your own practicum and you would leave
the others aside.
VIII. Write an
assessment about how useful the TVYL practice is in your way to become an ELT
teacher.
In
this section, you will evaluate yourself in terms of language students and of
English student teachers. How have you improved in your English Proficiency?
How do you see yourself as a teacher now that you have some experience in the
