IX. OF ALL THE CLASSROOM MATERIALS AND OTHER RESOURCES
THAT WERE STUDIED IN CLASS, STATE AND EXPLAIN THEIR ADVANTAGES AND
DISADVANTAGES AS WELL AS WHICH THE MOST USEFUL ONES ARE.
During the classes we used a lot of materials but some
of them were more useful than others, that´s why we could talk a little about
them:
Cloth-line was a really good idea that we put into
practice and at the end we realized that it was not the only resource that was
there available for us, there were dozens of new ideas that we could do to
present the topic that we were assigned.
Story telling was a very good resource because when we
use ideas like those, we make the students think and imagine by themselves how
the world could be.I remember when we used PowToon, it was really useful
because we were using different platforms to present the topic to our students in
the future that’s why using that platform has a lot of advantages.
We were discussing about a document that was about the
different kind of teachers that are there in our context, and how we identify
ourselves in those kind of teachers, that´s why that material had the advantage
of helping us to present the different kind of teachers through a recipe and it
was really fun.
When we read about the audiovisual aids, it helped us
a lot because we as future teachers need to know if our students learn by
looking at something or by listening to an audio. In that way our students
learn faster. Being there explaining to our classmates the different types of
visual or audio aids was nice.
As a last point, I can say that we used Prezi to
present a topic and it was really hard because some disadvantages that it had
were that we had not enough time to create the Prezi presentation and it was
really difficult to download the file. Also we had to present by on-line, using
an internet connection.
